Hello, my name's Melissa Ditson. I'm a Creative Director with a career in advertising spanning twenty years. I recently relocated back to New York from London, where I was heading up creative at 360i Europe. I joined 360i in 2017, establishing the creative and production department, while leading creative for Burger King, Enterprise, Honda, IKEA, Lidl, Norwegian, and Sony. Transforming our creative product from social and performance to digital. Taking the work from good to award-winning. I was named one of MarComm’s Magnificent Women in 2019, shortlisted for The Drum Creative Women of the Year in 2017 and raised the profile of the agency with numerous industry speaking and judging appearances.
Before joining 360i, for the past decade I have been busy leading creative teams and agencies in New York. I've launched award-winning campaigns to raise awareness about girls education for Michelle Obama's Let Girls Learn, worked on US-wide music platforms for American Express, Budweiser, and Bud Light, and redefined brand experiences online for GE, P&G, and (RED). My work has been recognized by the Clios, D&AD, One Show, The Webby Awards, The Shortys, and many more.
I am actively involved in the creative community. Last year I spoke at Advertising Week Europe, competed in the first Change for Good Hackathon at Cannes. Judged the Webbys, Campaign Creative Tech, Dubai Lynx, Creativepool, DADI Awards, Campaign Big Awards, The Dots portfolio review, and the Jolt Creativity Unlimited diversity initiative.
In my spare time, I like to work on other creative projects. One area I am particularly passionate about is mentoring other creatives, bringing up and empowering female talent. I'm in the process of building a female empowerment platform that I would love to tell you about if you would like to hear more.
